2000 Buick Park Ave Engine dies at Stop

My dear mother's Park Ave engine dies when at a full stop. The car can be restarted immediately and will function normally thereafter. This issue has occurred twice already but is intermittant. Two issues occured months apart. Have no idea what causes this issue. Appreciate any insights or suggestions to correct this issue.

This usually happens when the fuel filter is clogged. Replace that and see if it still stalls.
