Are there trouble codes that will let me try and diagnose an intermittent starting ploblem with the pass key 3 sytem?

All trouble codes are stored inside the Body Control Module. Unfortunately, GM Tech 2 scan tool is required to access it. Certain scan tool such as Genesis and Sanp-On probably can access it, as well, but not your generic OBD-II scan tool.
