Hi,
i had my outer tie rod ends replaced by a shop.
when I got home and parked I noticed the wheel was only turning right.
i took it back to the shop and he said the rack and pin needed to be replaced so we did that and again as soon as I got home the wheel was practically impossible to turn left.
i went back to him and he flushed the power steering fluid, still didnt help!
any suggestions?
thank you

There's no way I could give you an answer and be sure with my information. But it sounds to me as if something's binding. It could be anywhere from the rack to the ball joint where it connects to the steering knuckle/hub.

But one thing I can be sure of: DON'T allow that mechanic to do any more repairs to your vehicle. He obviously doesn't know what he's doing. And your steering/braking systems are very dangerous systems to get wrong.

You should demand that mechanic repair your vehicle correctly, then take it to a second mechanic to verify his work. If he doesn't fix your problem, contact the better business bureau and take him to court.
