Transmission problem
2000 Buick Century Automatic

car is shifting really hard doesnt seem to shift right when you reach speeds over 40 miles an hour. when ypu step on the gas sometimes is seem to jump a little bit

There are probably transmission codes stored in the pcm that may enlighten this.

Sounds like a shift solenoid problem maybe a torque converter problem.

I've found that not changing the transmission fluid filter every 30-35,000 can cause internal wear that will bring about a need for rebuilding.
