I have a 1991 Buick Century with a 3.3L six with 160K that runs very rough and stalls repeatedly. Fuel pressure is per spec and I'm getting spark. It seems to be running very rich when it stalls. I get a number 34 trouble code (mass air flow sensor - low airflow indicated). When I take the MAF sensor out and clean it, the engine will run normally for 4 or 5 minutes before stalling again. I understand there is a "burn off relay" associated eith the MAF circuit. Could this be the problem, and if so, where is it located? Any other ideas?

A good way to check if your MAF sensor is bad is to tap on it while the car is running. If the idle stumbles or the car dies then your MAF sensor is bad
