Brake pedal goes to the floor

When pushing on the brake pedal it goes all the way down and the car slowly comes to a stop. I changed master cylinder and bleed the brakes and no change.

Does this vehicle have four wheel drum brakes? The most common problem is the brake shoes being out of adjustment. Also, when you bled the brakes, did you start at the wheel furthest from the master cylinder and work your way to the closest?

Thanks for the response. No the car has rear drums and has disk in front. I will be adding a new booster tomorrow to add to the new master cylinder. Also the tears were adjusted by mechanic reacently. Still car does stop but I need to slam pedal to floor.

I have to be honest, I do not think a new booster is going to help with this problem. This sounds like either there is still air in the system or the rears are totally out of adjustment. If you lift the vehicle and turn the wheels by hand and then have someone step on the brake, do the wheels stop right away? Also, if you pump the brakes, do you get a better pedal?
