Hi,

I noticed my brakes lights stayed on after the car was cut off and the lights were off as well. I had the brake switch changed and the lights are still on.

Help, please

So the only way all the brake lights can be on is if there is voltage flowing through the switch or if there is a short to power somewhere in the wiring before any of the lamps so that the voltage would go to all the lamps.

We need to measure voltage before and after the switch and see if there is any there. If there is, either you got a faulty switch or the brake switch is depressed (plunger sticking) which is actually letting the brakes stay on. This means it will need to be adjusted.

Let me know if you have questions and we can go from there. Thanks.
