I have a 1999 BMW 528i with a 6 cylinder engine and about 74000 miles on it. My questions are. What is the estimated labor time for changing the thermostat on this car? What is the estimated labor time for changing the ASC Control on this car?

Thanks,
Ed

Time to replace thermostat should be no more 1.5 hours.
Time to install and code the ASC control unit should allow for some diagnostic time, again should be no more than 1.5 hours for diagnose and repair. When the thermostat is out that would be a perfect time to remove the block drain and replace all the coolant.
