When I bought it the blower motor would not work at all, I replaced the blower motor, the old one had what looks like a rats nest in it. After replacing it, it blew air for a while regularly then stopped and intermittently works, the blower is always running properly, you can hear it, but the blower does not move air when this occurs, seems to be more frequently not working now. It sounds like it runs correctly, just sometimes nothing comes out and other times it does. Any ideas?

Good afternoon.

If the blower is working and no air, my first thought is the nest you found may be bigger than you thought.

You may need to remove the motor again and use a shop vacuum and try to remove any other nests in the vents.

I would start there.

I removed the blower and cleaned it out (found a little more) thought it fixed it because it was working at first, but went right back to the intermittent problem. I took the blower out again and there was nothing else in the vents, but when I reached in, it felt like there was ice in the vents. It works most of the time, but will suddenly have no air, then it will come back strong later, but the blower always sounds like it is running fine? When it goes to no air, the very minimal amount that comes out is still hot, just not blowing through. Any ideas?

You are going to have to go deeper into the ducts. There sounds like there is obstructions in the ducts.

It may require removing the dash board to gain access to the duct work.
