I parked it one night and next morning it wouldn't start. 15amp engine control fuse was blowed so I replaced it and it blowed again soon as I tried starting the car. Crossed over the fuse and it started right up.

There is a dead short in the circuit if you cross the fuse out you will run the chance of starting a loom fire with dire results, get this checked out by a auto elect ASAP even if you have to get the car towed.

I'm not driving it. I just crossed it over to see if it would start.

Still a dangerous thing to do, an electrical loom melt down can do a great deal of damage in a few seconds.
