Vehicle has no heat at all. It started with replacing the thermostat, then replaced the radiator because the petcock had a small leak. Coolant hoses to and from heater core are hot. I ventured down to the blend door actuator, took it off and plugged it back in. Seems to work good. When I went to turn the blend air door hinge, (not sure if that’s what it is called) it fell right on through. I was wondering if you had a step-by-step process on the 100 pieces that need to be removed to get to this $34.00 part? Thanks

Yep, the dash will need to be removed start by disconnecting the battery and draining the coolant. Also, you will need to vacuum down and recharge the A/C system.

Watch this video to show you how:

They don't show how the HVAC housing comes apart, but it is pretty straightforward one the unit is out. You will need to fab a repair to the air blend door, which is made of plastic, I believe they only service the entire housing as one piece. Here are the steps to remove the dash and HVAC housing in the diagrams below. Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.
