When I start the car over revs then jumps into gear I sometimes get an F4 error on the dashboard. It got better when I was driving forty miles a day using BP ultimate fuel. However, now I am not using the car the issue has returned.

The first thing you should do is scan the computer for codes here is a guide that will help you get the codes.
