The car idles great, but soon as you hit the gas, there's no power. If you slowly hit the gas, the engine revs nicely. Thought is could be the MAF sensor, so I took it out and cleaned it. It fixed alittle of the issue, but still having the same problem. I thought it also might be the throttle, so hooked up scan tool and readjusted the throttle and still no go. There are no codes at the moment. What do you think it could be?

If its a 4 cyl, then its a 1.8 turbo. Or a 1.9 diesel, but assuming its gas, check that the rod on the turbo hasnt come disconnected. When the turbo works, those are a zingly car, but without the turbo, they are dogs. Being high mileage, it may even need the turbo replaced, but check that actuating rod. Remove the airbox on the passenger side of the engine bay to gain access to it. Hope this helps.
