I checked the heater hoses they appear to be dry. Where else could it be coming from? Also, are there freeze plugs between the engine an transmission?

Good afternoon,

The intake manifold is a common issue for this. The gaskets leak and it runs down the back of the motor.

You will need to look over the top of the motor with a pressure tester installed to see the leak.

Thanks. I think I have located the leak. It is the line that runs under the intake for the heater off the back of the water pump. It still means the intake has to come off to get to it. If you have any recommendations I would like to hear them.

The intake manifold has to be removed. It is a simple repair was at that point. The line is at the dealer parts.

If you are going to use something other than dexcool, you need to get all the coolant out of the radiator and block before changing the fluid. Make sure it is a 50-50 mix.
