Alternator issues

Alternator is putting out 30 volts with comp connected or external regulator conversion installed the 140A fuse between alt. N batt is blown alt tested ok could it be because alt not connected to batt with fuse or what can cause this

Check for a sulfated battery causes that are you reading on ac or dc scale. You should never run car with out battery connected. It could be bad regulator have a pro scan for codes for a pcm problem as well.

Batt is connected fuse between alt n batt not comp is clear and of course im on dc batt tested good

Try a different battery you can't really tell if it's sulfated or not. Otherwise it may be the external regulator you are talking about. There shold be a fusible link between battery connection and alternato as well. I don't understand this phrase. Not comp is clear
