I am looking to buy a car or trade my 4x4 for one. I am looking for something used for about $5000-$9000. I want something that wont break down and runs strong. But in the bad case if something did go wrong with it is is usually cheaper to fix on a car of its kind. Any suggestions as to a specific car or auto maker in general? Thank you

A lot of that depends on the age of the model you are looking for. I prefer the Honda and Toyota vehicles, but they cost a bit more with a higher resale. It is easy to find a nice 9 or 10 year old model from these. The call is your to make and many people have a make or model in mind from the start. You have to enjoy being seen in the vehicle as well.

I was thinking along the lines of Toyota or Honda. I like a some what sporty looking car 4 doors is nice but 2 doors wont kill me. 4 or 6 cylinder still undecided. Stick or auto I guess doesn't make a huge difference either. I am just sick and tired of buying a mid 90's car and is breaking down and paying hundreds and thousands to fix them. :O(
