I have a base model 93 civic with no air conditioning. Is it possible to add air conditioning to it at this point and how much would this approx. Cost to have a mechanic do this work. TIA

I just bought a real nice honda accord 96 with air, etc for $3000 on ebay. The car is a real nice runner, uses no oil, looks good and I love the space compared to the civic. That said. I paid close to what I think you might be pumping into the unit to get what you could have had from the manufacturer. They do make some real aftermarket stuff for less but I wouldn't go that route. If you did the work yourself and got materials from various salvage yards you could come in for less. This is just my opinion. I fall in love with cars, but if air is important, get another honda that is newer.
