90 Ciara 2.5 - bad coil assembly?

90 Cutalss Ciara w/120k runs poorly when a pull is placed on the engine. It seems electrical, not the fuel pump becaus it runs well other wise. Plugs, wires, and filter are new. Could it be anything else?

Have you checked the plugs and wires? Fuel filter age, start with theh simple maint items first, if the plugs look old and the wires look old replace them

Check the trans. Kick down - if it's not shifting at the proper time it may be flooding the carb.
