I purechased a new Scion tc in february of 2007. I have driven the car for almost a year now and about 6000 miles and the interior has started to rattle. Whenever the road is a little uneven, the passenger door rattles and it feels like I am driving an old car. Even the transmission is a little sticky and doesnt feel right, its a manual transmission. I took the car to the dealership and the guy there drove the car for a little bit and said there's nothing wrong with it. I also purchased GAP insurance and extended warranty when I purchased the car. They dont seem interested in dealing with me. Are interiors covered under warranty? And how can I make them pay attention to my problem?

Hi there,

the only way to get the dealership to pay attention is to by pass them and go straight to the manufacturer. Find there customer relations department and complain bitterly about the discraseful and unprofessional treatment handed out to you by your dealer. Well may be not that tough, but you can see what I'm getting at, this will get there attention and action will follow. As a past service manager for a large Toyota dealership, I know how the system works, Don't take no for an answer Annoy the hell out of them, thats what there there for.
