2004 Acura TSX how to change a rear rotor

How do I change a rear rotor? I have already removed the caliper. I was told by honda that the hub did not need to come off to replace the cracked rotor but i am finding that it is impossible. can you please help me.

Hi newxgrrl,

Have you removed the caliper mount?

The rotor is sticking tightly onto the hub and need to be released by banging with a hammer or using 2 pcs of m8 bolts to tighten into the 2 threaded holes on the rotor hub to remove the rotor.

should come off with some persuasion.

If you use the M8 bolts (they should just fit in the threaded holes) from my experience, make sure you tighten them evenly so the rotor slides off the hub evenly.
