2002 Acura MDX Code cant find answer

The check engine light recently poped on in my dash. I check the code with an actron super autoscanner and the code I got back was P1456 Aux. Emisson control, but the problem is that thiscode seem to not exist. Wonder have you ever heard of this code and what does it mean?

Good job getting a scanner.

This is an evap leak code.

Did this come on after getting fuel?

Granted this may be a long shot as there is plenty more testing to do, but why skip the obvious?

The cap needs to be turned for at least three clicks.

Remove the cap and carefully inspect the rubber gasket for any anomolies. Lok at the rim of the filler neck for anything that make not allow a good seal.

IF there is something that doesn't look right address this first.
