Hi kcn0909,

When reverse does not work, 4th gear would be affected as the use the same clutch.

Sooner or later you would only be able to use the forward 3 speeds only.

You need a rebuild or replacement trans.

Hi KHLow2008,
Thank you so much for your response. Do you know appx. How much to rebuild trans like this situation?
You're right ! I no longer drive the car with "D" gear and I only able to drive with the "S" and "2" gears.
Do you think these two now-working gears that will be affected sooner or later if I keep drive this car without rebuild/ replace the trans.

Hi kcn0909,

The remaining modes are separate clutches so should not be affected by the 4th clutch. However since one clutch has given way, the others might not last as the age and condition of the clutch seals should be about equivalent and might give way anytime.

Book time for overhaul = 13 hrs
I don't have the parts and gasket kit prices and I gues it should be from 200 to 600 depending on the severity of the damaged parts.

Hi kcn0909,

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

The prices quoted are from my estimator for USA specs. I am located on the other side of the globe, Asia.

It is best if you can get the price quoted locally as I do not know the actual condition of the trans and local conditions as well.
