My 2001 Acura Integra GSR overheats drastically. My temp gauge on my dash doesn't say that my engine is overheating but I can feel heat coming up through the inside of my vehicle and my shifter produces extreme heat. I've checked my oil level and its fine. My coolant level is fine as of now too. I've just changed my thermostat. But I've noticed that my A/C fan does not operate at all when I turn my A/C on, but my radiator fan turn on instead. And my radiator fan ONLY comes on when my A/C is on. Other than that, when my engine is idling and my engine heats up, my radiator fan does not come on at all to cool my radiator/engine. If you all could help me with this problem, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you very much.

Honda engines operates at a high temp so some heat is not surprising but if the AC fan is not working, then either the motor is dead or you have a wiring or relay problem

The radiator fan will not operate when the engine is started, it operates only at a predetermined temperature controlled by a thermo sensor switch. Normally it takes about 20 mins from cold starting before the temperature is reached.

Since the gauge is not showing any high reading, I believe there is no overheating problem. In order to confirm this, check and see if the reserve tank is bubbling like boiling water and steam coming out. If yes, then it is overheating.

If it is overheating and the fan still does not come on, check for faulty thermo sensor or loose connection.
