1994 acura integra

Ive got a 1994 acura integra LS that doesnt seem like its got all the 'umph' it could have. i had a 1993 integra LS and it was much more zippy than this one, is there a difference between the generations that would have caused this. it seems like the same 1.8 liter in both, but thats why im asking.

Just as a quick thought, was one of them a VTec engine and the other not? That can make a difference. The car at hand I might suggest a timing check, a look at the plugs to see how they are burning, etc.

no they were both non-vtec. i was thinking about the timing from what all ive read about it. also i had put iridium plugs in the last car, i wasnt aware that it would have made such a difference though.

Better spark = better performance

So along that line the spark timing is essential.
