There is a pretty solid clank coming from the center/front end of the car. After accelerating and braking. Lifted the car and replaced the lower motor mount. Cannot seem to find anything loose.

Good afternoon.

Did you check the axle shafts for any play? Outer CV joints are very common for this type of noise.

Does the noise change pitch when turning the wheel left or right?

The pitch never changes, it is just a solid loud sound with acceleration and braking. There is no change in turning left or right.

Okay, it may be a motor mount. The engine may be jumping up and down. Check the mounts for any torn or broken rubber.

Yes, sounds like a motor mount. It sounds like the engine is jumping up and down.

I suggest you take it to a shop and let them listen to it. That will confirm. They can also tell you which mount. Let me know what they say and if you want to replace it yourself, I can source it and give you the procedure.
