There was water leaking in car on the passenger side bit now there is no leak. I checked drain hole on passenger side and water is coming out. Could it be clogged up? There is a smell coming from A/C when I turn it on. How do I get rid of the smell? What caused it?

Welcome to 2CarPros.

The first thing I suggest is to check the outlet which is on the firewall, under the hood, in passenger side. See picture 1 Make sure nothing is plugging it.

Next, inspect under the dash on the passenger side to determine if the seal where the drain exits the vehicle is leaking. The seal can go bad and allow water to re-enter the vehicle. See picture 2

Let me know what you find.

Take care,
Joe
