I had a Ford car starter put on my car. When I go to put the key in the ignione (sp) the car stops. So you have to restart your car. I had one before and if you put your hand on the steering wheel or foot on brake it would shut off, but NOT putting the key in. Is this right? Or did the guy screw up putting it in. Because now you use the starter on the car twice.

A little confused as to how you start the car before you put the key in the ignition... As far as the problem, that is not normal. However, replacing a starter shouldn't have caused this problem. I would suggest discussing it with your tech and have him check to make sure it is fixed correctly. The vehicle is still under 100% warranty.
