Hope you are doing fine,
I have a 2010 Santafe with 94000 miles on it which I purchased one month ago
one day my engine started a knocking sound and after 5 minz my car died and didnt turn back on after I took it to the mechanic they said the engine is ceased up and after unceasing it it turned back on with the same knocking sound
i dont know what is wrong with the engine and I would appreciate if you could have helped me to diagnose what is wrong with it

Engine knock like you describe is often a failed main or big end bearing, if the engine locked up I feel that this will be the problem, to prove this the sump will have to come off and then drop the bearing caps to inspect for failed bearings.

If it has damaged a bearing it will depend on if the crank shaft is also damaged, it will have to be inspected first hand and assessed. Worst case will be a second hand engine installation, you will have to get a local work shop to quote this work, they can do this over the phone.
