2010 Chevrolet Equinox Repair Question

Chevrolet Equinox Exhaust Problem
When we start our car it sounds like it has an exhaust leak. But after it gets on the road and warms up..it quiets itself. Has an exhaust type smell. The cars runs smoothly though. What do you think it is and do you think it is still under the power train warrantee

Possibly still under powertrain/emissions warranty. Something you would have to take up with GM customer service or your dealer
