Heater fan not working

I have a 2008 Hummer H3 and the fan switch will not come on any speed ( 1-4 ). A friend told me it might me a resistor, but I don't know where it is located. Any other ideas or how to check what the problem might be. Thanks tom

You will find a melted terminal and possible connector body at the blower resistor. A poor connection creates resistance, and resistance creates heat. Ideally, you will either need to obtain a harness with leads, or a terminal and connector body to perform a wire repair. More than likely, you will need the resistor also.
