What is the whirring whistling whining noise coming from the idler/compressor area of my 2008 Honda Accord LX? It happens when off idle and when in lower gears when moving. Thanks

Most likely a dry serpentine belt. When problem occurs, try splashing some water onto the drive belt and if noise goes away, it confirns it is the belt that is emitting the noise.
