I put freon into the low pressure port and now compressor won't kick on. Did I overcharge? Could it be a fuse? I followed the directions on the can of A/C Pro refrigerant that I purchased. There is a light that comes on inside the car whenever the compressor is on. Above the light there is a "snowball" symbol. There is also a light that has to be on with the symbol of a car with arrows going in a circle.

You could have overcharged it if you don't know how much is in the system and you charge it. The problem is the charge is by weight not pressure. Those diyer system show you a pressure and based on the pressure say its charged correctly. Also what was the ac doing before the recharge? You also need the high pressure and low pressure readings to do ac diagnoses. See if the center of the ac clutch is spinning with the ac on.
