Hello,
How do I turn the " check engine verification " dash light off. The engine is a diesiel turbo Chevy duramax; The light used to turn off after 40 to 50 miles on the highway. I did disconnect my battery, however, did not solve the problem. Thank you in advance for helping.

What was the code and did you have it repaired? Clearing the code does nothing as the issue is still there

Code needs to be identified, diagnostic done, repaired then the light will go out.
