RPM drops at a particular coolant temperature range when the temperature rises above that RPM become smooth

When I start my car in morning its RPM dont fluctuate but as temperature rises and a particular temperature is reached its RPM fluctuates on idle when that temperature is passed RPM stabilizes. What is the possible cause of this problem?I have changed thermostat valve there are no check engine lights on.

Check and test the coolant temperature sensor -sounds like its out of calibration

Yes I hv doubts on coolant temperature sensor as the temperature of car rises very slowly and fan is nt on in this process. Replaced thermostat valve but it didnt improved much. Nw tell me hw to test coolant temperature sensor?If it is out of calibration I hv to replace it?Thanx

Test its resistances Hot and Cold refer to repair manual for specifictions-
