Toyota Corolla Noise Problem
My 2007 Corolla is making a "pinging" sound after it runs for about 20 minutes. sounds like the last few kernels of popcorn popping or the pinging noise you'd hear from under the hood after you turn the car off. It only makes the noise when the car is moving, not when idling at a stoplight. What could this be? thanks.

Unless you are able to tell us the source of the noise otherwise we would not be able to provide any suggestions as we don not know what is wrong.

The ping sound is coming from under the hood, on the driver's side...seeming sounds like its coming from right in front of the driver.

Which component is emitting it?
