I have a 2007 ford explorer EB.2wd 4.0l my climate control dial for fan speed only works on speed 1,2 and 4. When I turn to 3 the speed stays the same as 2.help

suspect BLOWER MOTOR RESISTER

Removal and check

Remove the two 4X4 control module screws.
Disconnect the blower motor resistor electrical connector.
Remove the 2 blower motor resistor screws.
Remove the blower motor resistor.
To install, reverse the removal procedure
