Mileage drops faster then the miles actually driven

Why when I fuel my car the miles to E drop faster then the miles I actually drive?

that info is based on set parameters from the pcm. tire size, abs and many other factors are involved. did you change tires size or wheels??

No I didn't do any of that I let the fuel level go real low before I got gas is there anyway to reset it

not that i am aware of. try removing the battery cable and installing.
