Hello, I have a 2006 Mercury milan 2.3 cyl and I have my wrench light on and my check engine light that is on. I did a diagnostic test and I have received two codes P2258 which is for my secondary air injection "A" Circuit high and P0538 which is my evaporator sensor. I would like to know for my air injection code is it a fuse, the pump, or one of my circuit that is bad, I'm not that good with fuses or circuit stuff because its my first car, and for my evaporator sensor code is it because my sensor needs to be replace or is it something else because my car blows cold air from time to time and at times it will blow warm air. All of my wiring is good and car still drives great just having problems with these two codes. THANKS IN ADVANCE!

The evap sensor s have been known to go bad so it may just be that but should be checked with a scan tool first to verify. It's no t easy to get to as it 's under the dash.
Sensor can be seen when looking through driver's side defrost vent from windshield to pass. Side vent.
Here are the causes for other code check the relay and solenoid first as one or the other or both may be stuck. See pic.
