2006 Isuzu Ascender Repair Question

Cel flashing, vehicle shakes
I have a 2006 Isuzu Ascender. About 3 months ago, CEL flashed then stayed on & I had it read-cylinder 5 misfire. I have replaced the battery, gotten new plugs put on, & replaced the coil in cylinder 5. Now the light flashes, but doesn't stay on and I feel it slightly shaking when slowing down/odleing. No other symptoms but I can't figure out what's wrong. Mechanic cant read the CEL b/c it wont stay on, only flashes. 72,000miles

a flashing MIL(MALFUNCTION indicator light) means you have a misfire condition that may be damaging your catalytic convter. service right away! codes and freeze frame data should be stored in memory
