Your case is a straight forward one. The wires between the fuses in IPDM and headlights does not have to go back to cabin.

Remove the IPDM and check for damaged wires under it.

Ok. Is this going to be the fuse box behind the battery?? Or is it the relays in front of the battery??

It is the one where the fuses for the low nd high beams are located.
