Honda ridgeline whining

2006 honda ridgeline 75,000 miles. A loud intermittent whining noise under hood but not part of the motor. It's on passenger side. Sounds like a different motor is running while i am driving.

I just drove it again and noticed the whining/grinding/screeching noise which is quite loud only happens when decelerating. None of the belts appear loose

Could be a driven component such as the AC compressor, steering pump and alternator-might want to check the driveaxle on that side-
