I'm trying to take off my drive shaft but it is not moving. I've taken out the four bolts and I've tried all I could to take it off the slip yoke. I've tapped it with a rubber hammer (not the drive shaft) and a pry bar. I had it level, jack stands, park, and neutral with no luck.

MAKE A MARK ACROSS BOTH PIECES, SO THAT UPON INSTALLATION THEY WILL MATE BACK UP IN THE SAME EXACT CONFIGURATION

THE FLANGE AND THE YOKE ARE MATED TOGETHER WITH A RAISE CIRCLE ON THE FLANGE END (AND A FEMALE CIRCLE ON THE YOKE SIDE)

THIS CIRCLE CENTERS THE TWO PIECES

THE CIRCLE IS SORTA PRESSED TOGETHER WHEN THE BOLTS ARE TIGHTENED, IT IS PRETTY DARN STUBBORN TO GET IT APART

IT TAKES A CROW BAR (NOT A PRY BAR) TO GET IT TO TURN LOOSE.

DO NOT BEAT ON THE ASSEMBLY, THIS WILL DISTORT STUFF AND MAY THROW THINGS OUT OF BALANCE. (WHICH IS THE REASON STEP 1 WAS TO MAKE A MARK ON BOTH PARTS)

I DID A LITTLE SEARCHING AND I FOUND A PIC ON THE NET OF USING A CROW BAR TO GET IT LOOSE. (PIC IS BELOW)

LET US KNOW HOW IT GOES

Hey Medic that worked great so great in fact I almost forgot what I was really trying to get done. I got it off and replace the pinion seal and everything is going great.

Thanks again,
