Chrysler 300 Heater Problem

When driving car the heater blows hotair, then when stop at a light it starts blowing cold air

Your water pump slows down at lower rpms, so coolant flow through the heater core slows down. You can flush the heater core and see if it helps? An hvac trouble codes? Some of the national brand autostores will check codes for free. Those are B type codes.
