Chevrolet Uplander Problem
My service theft system light came on. i didn't know i had a theft system. what does this mean exactly? and what happens if I don't take it in to get checked?

just try to reset it first, turn key to on without starting car, leave it on for up to 10 minutes or until light goes out. turn key off and thentry to start car. if light goes back on take to garage to see whatis wrong with it.
