My toyota hilux d4d 2.5 srx does not want to start, diagnostics says crank sensore mulfunction so I changed the crank sensor but still wont start

Diagnostic fault codes never say to replace parts or that they're bad. They only indicate the circuit or system that needs further diagnosis, or the unacceptable operating condition. When a sensor or other part is referenced in a fault code, it is actually the cause of that code about half of the time. You also have to look at the wiring and connector terminals.
