Scion xA Engine Problem
The engine light is comes on and it says ABS maint reqiered,What is thi meant to you?

That is not the Check Engine light. That is for the anti-lock brakes. The computer detected a problem, turned the system off, and set a diagnostic fault code in memory. Having that code read is the place to start. It will indicate the circuit or system that needs further diagnosis.
