Why does my Opel Astra H2 have a noisy idle valve.

I have a 2005 opel astra 1.6 enjoy and there is a high peak noise coming from the idle valve what can be the cause of the noise and how do I get rid of it.- Enter a Question or Subject and Click Search -

Hello,

Hight pitched noise from the Idle air control valve happens due to an internal leak.
This leak is in the valve system itself and the IAC will need to be replaced.

Since the Astra was not sold in the US, we do not have access to the repair manual of this vehicle.
The IAC is located on the throttle body and is mounted by 2 screws.
