While driving the car shuts dwon, dashboard light are on, and steering is jammed, and even brakes are jammed, I have changed the fuel pump, cam and crank shaft sensor, and cleaned the throttle body, checked the spark plugs, checked the current in the alternator, but still the problem remains same, one thing which I have noticed that car stops when I apply hard brakes, RPM drops to 0 and car is stopped.

Any idea what could causing this problem and how to diagnose it?

Have a pro scan for codes there may be an abs problem or short causing the whole thing. There is a recall as well to reprogram the ecm as it may be causing this but you need to go to a dealer to see if it's on the list for that. They can check your vin.

The car is without ABS, and I did go for a code scan but test did not give any error code. And I am in Saudi Arabia, have checked with the dealer, there is no recall for my vin at the moment.

Any other idea?
