Kia Rio electrical issue 2005

When the headlights are on the hazards stay on. Not blinking and the taillights work untill u press the break and when you press the breaklight there are no break light or tail lights. Let off the break tail lights come back on. All the while the blinker makes a rapid blinking sound and solid hazard lights come on when blinker is used at any time

Check the taillights for bad ground circuit connections.

I have never worked on a car before and cant afford to have someone do this. How can I do this myself?

At the teillights thre would be wireharness attached to the bulbs. Some wire would be bolted ontop the body. Check if any of those bolted onto body are loose, rusted or broken.

A test lamp and DVOM would enable you to perform testings but you must have the basic knowledge of electrical diagnosis.
