2005 Jeep Grand Jerokee Limited. When turning the key over just clicks. Battery is good. Message comes up "Service Elec Brake System". Can you give me an idea what this could be before I get a mechanic involved? I want to narrow the problem down so I have

2005 Jeep Grand Jerokee Limited. When turning over it just clicks. The battery is good. Message on the display comes up "Service Elec Brake System". Before I get a mechanic involved could you tell me what this could be? I would like to have a better idea before they try and confuse me and charge me a small fortune to fix this.

starter motor has failed. have it verified at a shop.

How did you check the battery ? With a load test ? A poor connection @ the battery cable ends will do that . Let me know if you need to know how to test this
